Dear Riders,
As of 6:00 AM, the Air Quality Index (AQI) is 141. Therefore, the Twisp River Rambler is proceeding as planned. We have been using the airnow.gov website for our data, specifically looking at the location of Twisp. We understand that the AQI might vary throughout the ride, so come prepared for changing circumstances.
Below, we have our Air Quality Policy and the options available for you to proceed with at this time. If you have any questions, please refer to the policy below.
Air Quality Policy & Rider Options
AQI 0–100 (Green/Yellow): The ride will proceed with no changes.
AQI 101–150 (Orange – “Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups”): The event will still proceed, but we recognize that some riders may prefer not to ride under these conditions. All registered riders will be given three options:
Complete the ride as planned.
Defer their registration to 2026 at 50% of the registration value.
Donate their registration fee in support of our event and community cycling initiatives.
Important: If AQI reaches this level, riders wishing to defer must do so at check-in, Saturday morning at Twisp Park before the start of your ride.
AQI Above 150 (Red/Purple/Maroon - “Unhealth-Hazardous”): The event will be canceled. All registered riders will be given two options:
Defer their registration to 2026 at 75% of the registration value.
Donate their registration fee in support of our event and community cycling initiatives.
Important: If AQI reaches this level, riders wishing to defer must do so at check-in, Saturday morning at Twisp Park from 8:00-9:00 am
